Family caregivers are relatives, partners, or friends who provide or manage car for people of all ages with chronic illness, disability, or frailty. Some caregivers live with the person needing care, but many do not. Some are providing "kin care" to grandchildren or other young children.
Caregivers often do not know about available services and resources. This brochure will increase your knowledge of caregiving and help you access supports. For detailed information regardless of your age, contact your local Office of the Aging. They have experienced, trained staff who can help you.
