Purpose: Such committee shall consider legislation in accordance with specific directions from, or policy developed by, the House of Delegates or the Executive Board as provided in the Constitution and Bylaws. The Committee shall report to the House of Delegates at the Annual Meeting of the Society on its activities pertaining to legislation affecting pharmacy practice that is introduced in or enacted in National or State legislatures. There shall also be appointed by the Legislative Committee Chairman an Auxiliary Legislative Action Committee composed of a sufficient number of members to contact personally the legislators involved.
