Pharmacists Society of the State of New York Announces Honors and Awards Recipients

Albany, NY – (July 17, 2017) –The Pharmacists Society of the State of New York (PSSNY) recently honored several recipients at its annual convention. The Society honors are awarded to members who have distinguished themselves as leaders in the professions of pharmacy.

The following honors were bestowed:

Bowl of Hygeia:
Assemblyman John McDonald, III, RPh, Marra’s Pharmacy, 108th District of NY Assembly, Cohoes, NY

 

Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award, sponsored by Pharmacists Mutual Companies:

Excellence in Innovation:
Christopher Daly, PharmD, MBA, BCACP, University at Buffalo, Hamburg, NY

Lifetime Achievement Award:

The Pharmacists Society of the State of New York (PSSNY) has served as the society for the state’s pharmacists for more than 138 years. Its mission is to unite pharmacists for mutual assistance, encouragement, and improvement in order to maintain the standard of pharmacy practice at a high professional and ethical level.
