Presenter of Gout: An Overview

▪ Review the key characteristics of gout as a chronic disease;
▪ Describe the prevalence of gout in the US and factors affecting economic burden;
▪ Review the pathology, clinical presentation and diagnosis of gout, including imaging;
▪ Identify comorbid diseases associated with gout;
▪ Review pharmacologic treatment interventions for the management of gout.
