Knowledge Based Activity

Target Audience: Pharmacist and student pharmacists in all practice settings.

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
List a process-related approach to preventable adverse drug events (i.e., errors);
Identify activity in the NYS Legislative session which affect pharmacy practice;
Describe the pharmacy-related provisions of the federal Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA);
List and describe new case law with regard to counseling and warnings.
