At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

 Identify the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose;

 List the demographics of herion or fentanyl related deaths;

 Identify the physiology of an opiate overdose;

 Describe the Good Samaritan Law;

 Identify the properties of naloxone;

 Describe how to use naloxone to resolve an overdose;

 List how to report the sue and how to provide necessary follow-up after an incident.
