You must have attended The Role of Naloxone in Overdose Prevention: Part 1 to attend Part 2.

The Objectives include:

  • Discuss the pharmacology of naloxone and its use in the management of opoid overdose.
  • List and describe the currently available naloxone formulations and those under development.
  • Explain the New York State DOH's Opioid Overdose Prevention Program and the ESAP programs.
  • Describe the role of the pharmacist in opioid overdose prevention and in the ESAP program.

 

The Pharmacists Society of the State of New York is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy educations. To receive CE credit a passing grade of 80% must be attained. CE credit for successfully completed quizzes will be uploaded to the CPE Monitor.
